Last week in Capri, FIG (Fusion Interiors Group) won the ‘International Hotel & Property Award 2020’ for ‘Best Hotel over 200 rooms in the Americas & Caribbean’ for the extraordinary design of Club Med Playa Esmeralda, Miches, Dominican Republic.
The project, which is the largest 5 Trident Club Med in the world, is an example of their innovative and sustainable design approach, as well as their ability to create deep narratives reflecting the location to bring the personal experience of the guest alive and memorable forever.
For years, Club Med scouted the Caribbean in search of a new, unspoiled paradise to be the home of its first Exclusive Collection resort in the Americas. The 93 acre prestigious resort features four individually designed boutique villages designed for wellness seekers, romantics and adventurers alike. The design was awarded to the project for its inspirational and amazing spaces, its uniqueness, and its eco-chic luxury. This award really shows that FIG is at the forefront of the future of design – we are about creating unique experiences that connect guests and users to not only the brand but unforgettable moments that leave imprints on their lives.
